We Are Hiring:  Data Management Consultant

We are growing rapidly and looking for a Data Management Consultant to support our advisory work with public service bodies and other organisations. This is a hybrid role based in Ireland, offering flexibility to work remotely with regular in-person collaboration.

As a Data Management Consultant, you will support public service bodies in understanding, managing, and improving how they use data. Your work will focus on advising organisations through assessments, strategy development, and collaborative workshops — helping them make better, more informed decisions around data.

What You’ll Do

  • Data Discovery: Lead organisations through data inventory assessments, helping them understand their data landscape and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Data Maturity Evaluation: Conduct data maturity assessments that benchmark data management practices against sector standards.

  • Strategic Development: Co-create data strategies that align with organisational goals and objectives.

  • Workshops: Design and deliver engaging workshops that build data literacy and drive cultural change.

  • Client partnerships: Build trusted long-term relationships with clients, becoming their go-to advisor for data challenges.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Data Fluency: A strong understanding of data management concepts or demonstrated ability to quickly master data topics.

  • Client-Focused Mindset: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders.

  • Great Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights.

  • Knowledge of Public Service: Genuine interest in how data can transform public services and non-governmental organisations.

  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player who really enjoys a collaborative environment and contributes positively to our culture.

Valuable Additions:

  • Experience with the Irish public service or other government entities.
  • Technical skills in data analysis, visualisation, or programming.

  • Project management experience.

  • Background in consulting or advisory roles.

  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks or open data principles.
