Derilinx is a high growing company having developed from its research spin-out into now being recognised as a leader in the area of Linked & Open Data solution developments. It has already attracted ambitious customers including Ireland’s Open Data Programme,  the World Bank, the UN, Smart Dublin, and NGOs including East West Management Institute and the International Aid Transparency Initiative.

Derilinx now plans to develop its customer base given the development of the Data market. We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team and to make a strong impact on Derilinx’s growth and its future direction.

This Account Executive’s responsibilities include:

  • Drive lead generation, prospect nurturing activities and client conversion activities
  • Set up meetings with potential clients, helping them uncover requirements/value aligned with Derilinx’s Value Proposition
  • Bring required Derilinx team members to build the right solutions surpassing clients’ needs
  • Immerse yourself in client challenges to plan well for future opportunities
  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
  • Prepare data and sales reports
  • Build and maintain professional networks

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
    Experience in Solution Selling (Customer Centric Selling methodology or equivalent) is a significant plus
  • Proven experience in any of these fields Data Management / Open & Linked Data / Data Analytics is a huge plus
  • Knowledge of MS Office software and CRM software
  • Proficiency in English
  • Self-motivated and driven by targets
  • Commercial awareness
  • Resilience
  • Strong communication skills – including both verbal and written
  • The ability to influence and negotiate with others
