From Mine to Electric Vehicle: Building Green and More Resilient Lithium Supply Chains
The Climate Mineral Explorer App (CME) is an interactive tool that provides an overview of greenhouse gas emissions as well as other Environmental Social and Governance aspects of critical minerals supply chains, from mine to clean energy technologies. It provides energy, mining, battery and electric vehicle manufacturers, governments and civil society organisations stakeholders with key data and metrics to self-report aspects of their emissions and energy use throughout their operations, along with Greenhouse Gas emissions reduction targets and actions they are taking to address climate change.
CME, among other applications, is the fruit of a close partnership between the World Bank and Derilinx. It represents the transition from the “data published” stage to “data linked and visualised” stage to create sustainable impact aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Congratulations and thanks to Derilinx for your hard work on delivering the Climate Mineral Explorer. We are very pleased with how it has developed and I hope you are as well. We have received positive feedback on it already!
We look forward to extending the platform to include other minerals.Susana Moreira, Senior Gas Specialist - Energy and Extractives Global Practice

As the world’s largest multilateral source of financing for water in developing countries, the World Bank is working closely with partners to achieve “A Water-Secure World for All,” by sustaining water resources, delivering services and building resilience.
With more than 2,680 datasets, global coverage, across 3 Intervention Pillars (Resilience, Services and Sustainable Water Resources) the World Bank Water Data is a one-stop shop for all water-related open data at the World Bank.
Derilinx also build applications for The World Bank Water team that give users the ability to visualise data in many different ways, allowing them to extract insights directly from the graphs. This helps to deliver positive impact in a variety of projects such as unchartered water, women in water, etc.
We successfully launched the World Bank Water Data portal at wbwaterdata.org this past year. It currently aggregates the largest collection of water data in one place along with curated data visualizations that allow for rapid analysis of water-related development challenges.
Derilinx was instrumental in helping us crystallize this vision of a one-stop-shop for water data and make it a reality. We have had an extremely fruitful collaboration. Their expertise, dedication, passion, and ready-to-help attitude for helping us deliver on our vision have exceeded our expectations. It has been a pleasure working with them.Esha Zaveri – Water Global Practice, World Bank Group

ResourceData helps people to realise the benefits of their countries’ endowments of oil, gas and minerals. It contains EITI data pertaining to the global standard for the good governance of oil, gas and mineral resources. The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) is a global standard to promote the open and accountable management of natural resources from over 50 countries. The standard seeks to addresses the key governance issues of the oil, gas and mining sectors.
ResourceData also includes Resource Governance Index (RGI) data, which measures the quality of resource governance in 81 countries. The RGI library contains almost 10,000 source documents which RGI researchers used to verify their answers to 149 survey questions across 89 country-sector assessments. Users can search the documents by question, assessment type, country and subcomponent.
