Live Demo: New Data Visualisation Feature on data.gov.ie – datAdore Insights

The Open Data Unit at the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation and Derilinx are hosting an online event designed for publishers and Open Data Officers across the Irish Public Service.

This live demonstration will introduce the newest addition to data.gov.ie: datAdore Insights. Powered by the Apache Superset visualisation tool, this feature enables publishers to turn raw datasets into interactive dashboards and data stories – making data easier to understand, explore and share.

The live demo will include:

• A guided walkthrough of the new feature
• Practical tips on how to use it effectively
• Examples of what the final outputs look like

The event will also showcase other key features of the national Open Data Portal that support and enhance both publishing and reuse of Open Data.
