The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM)’s new Open Data Portal is live!

DAFM worked with Derilinx using the Technical Services Framework for Open Data and Data Management, facilitated by the Office of Government Procurement (OGP).

Derilinx started working with DAFM in 2022 to support their work on sharing and publishing Data.

The portal was built on Derilinx’s datAdore Data Sharing Platform to allow the Department to publish data in an easy and secure manner. At the time of the launch the platform already contains 28 datasets and 78 business units which will start opening more data in the near future.

The platform will include, but won’t be limited to, data on agriculture, food production, marine resources, forestry, and more, and will be automatically harvesting to data.gov.ie

These Data will be important for Ireland given the significance of Food and Agriculture to the Irish economy and society.
