OD Camp is rapidly becoming the leading event for finding out about the latest trends and best practices in the Open Data Landscape. ODCamp is organised in the format of an 'unconference' entirely devoted to Open Data. An interdisciplinary workshop where developers, academia, public bodies, civil society and private companies come together to share experience and knowledge and to raise awareness around recent trends.

The Derilinx Open Data Impact Series promotes awareness, adoption and use of Open Data in different sectors, and supports the publication of high-quality Open Data. The inaugural session ‘Creating Business Opportunities with Open Data’ focused on how Open Data is a valuable resource for businesses, which can be used to build new applications, enhance existing products or provide additional context for decision-making. The panel discussion took place on 26th Sep 2017 in the beautiful No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place, and was well attended by representatives from industry, government and academia. It was great to see how much interest there is in the application of Open Data across many different sectors. The panels comprised of technology and innovation experts, in fields such as transport, finance, health, retail, and insurance, to name but a few.

The Open Data Impact Series promotes awareness, adoption and use of Open Data in different sectors, and supports the publication of high-quality Open Data. The first session in the Series 'Creating Business Opportunities with Open Data' will focus on the availability of Open Data in Ireland and will demonstrate the huge potential that Open Data represents for the economy.

open data We are delighted to announce that Derilinx has been awarded by the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) onto the National Framework for the Provision of Technical Assistance and Support to Ireland’s Open Data Initiative. Derilinx has been leading Open Data developments, both in Ireland and internationally, since 2010. We have extensive experience in the provision of fully hosted and managed data solutions, notably managing the Irish National Open Data Portal on behalf of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, as well as collaborating with the Central Statistics Office, the Environmental Protection Agency, Dublin City Council, and the international Natural Resource Governance Institute and Landesa Rural Development Institute.

OD Strategy Derilinx are delighted to welcome the publication of the Open Data Strategy 2017 – 2022. The Strategy builds on the substantial achievements of the Open Data Initiative and sets out a roadmap for the Initiative's continued progress and development.

The Open Data Strategy is developed by the Open Data Governance Board (ODGB) in conjunction with the Open Data Unit in the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform and presents Ireland’s Vision and Action Plan of the next five years for the further implementation of the Open Data Initiative.

sussummit Derilinx were delighted to participate as an exhibitor at the 2017 Sustainability Summit, in the City West Convention Centre, Dublin. We connected with manufacturers, service providers, energy suppliers, waste reduction technicians, energy agencies and other knowledge leaders. The stands and floor were busy with potential business partners reaching out to each other, discovering the latest technology and trends. We showcased both DataSparks and datAdore at the Summit.
