08 Mar Webinar – It’s time to Open Series III – Open Data in Ireland and OGP Framework (March 24, 2022)
Making it happen and accessing the required technical skills
March 24th, 2022 – 9.30 AM – 10.30 AM (GMT)
As a public body you’re collecting or using data as part of your day-to-day operations, which is used in the delivery of public services, for analysis and reporting and for future planning. Now it is time to share that data publicly for general reuse!
The Directive on Open Data and the Re-use of Public Sector Information – AKA The Open Data Directive – was transposed into National Law in July 2021. Also, on January 24th 2022, the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) made effective a procurement framework to facilitate access to specialist Open Data and Data Sharing skills and platforms.
Watch the third webinar of the “It’s time to Open” series: Open Data in Ireland – Making it happen and accessing the required technical skills (OGP Framework) – March 24th 9.30 AM.
We will bring you up to speed with all the changes in the Irish Open Data scene. Whether you are a current publisher or you’re just starting, you will hear about how to best organise yourself on your Open Data journey. You will also learn everything you need to know about the new Framework (Technical Services Framework for Open Data and Data Management for the Irish Public Sector): what it covers, who it is for and how to best leverage it.
